Janurary Transfer Window

So here we are! A little delayed but assuming that Karanka will stay to long enough to bring people in or move them out - we have ourselves a transfer window.

We've got a shed full of deadwood and premadonnas from that era when we were owned by some Kuwaiti bloke with the IQ of a fridge magnet, and Karanka has little wiggle room for sentiment with the rumours of pressure on him. Spring clean's coming early!

Anyone got any gossip?

Brian Rice got the Hamilton Academicals Jon sonis managing in the Scottish Prem. Good luck to a cult hero of mine from the 80’s. Never forget that chip at Highbury in the FA Cup Quarter Final.

It's possible that Milosevic has been training with us for a few days given that he is a free agent. If that is the case he will probably start on Saturday allowing Robinson to revert to FB.

With speculation about Ben Osborn it wouldn't surprise me to see Robinson at LB. Is Darikwa still suspended?

I think Bonatini has been signed to start most games so may we’ll be ahead of Grabban. Can’t imagine he left Wolves to sit on our bench. Think we did quite well in the window really. Now have good cover at CB. At some point I assume Byrham and Soudani will be back in action so we’ll have extra cover. Lots of pressure on Cash and Lolley to maintain form now as we don’t have many other wide options apart from Osborn. Do we still have Goncalves??? Not that he’s a great option!

Brum is the third and last game of Darikwa’s suspension. Goncalves is still at the CG as far as everyone knows!

I can see Bonatini and Grabban playing together. MoN knows that Forest have got to let the shackles loose a little to try and catch and match the top six.

Byram would be a fantastic addition if he could get back to full fitness soon. He was outstanding in that cup game against the Geordies when he got injured.

Wague confirmed on loan from Udinese till the end of the season. Powerful defender who is good in the air. I guess he replaces Hefele.

To be honest I have written off Byram, D@wson, Hefele and Soudani for the season. If D@wson or Soudani do start a game for us it won't be long before they are injured again.

Hopefully we now have three reliable CBs, plus Robinson and Figs perhaps.

I'd stick with Grabban as first choice striker. I think 14 goals from the poor service he has to feed off is excellent after a slow start by him. But I do think MON wants to try two strikers again.

Will is right, if we want to make the top six MON has to take the shackles off. Draws are not much good to us. A win tomorrow could put us a point behind the sheep who have a tough one at PNE tonight.

I have a feeling he will look to really have a go at teams. He will have been really disappointed by the showing against Brizzle. The win over Wigan was great but against a team really struggling away from home. Brum is a really big test tomorrow as they harbour their own hopes of making a top six assault. MoN and Keane need points on board to justify their appointments.

Milosevic has signed up for 18 months. 👍🏼
