Why is last night being made out to be some sort of giant killing? Feels like massive disrespect for Wolves.
Wolves are the best outfit outside the top 6 (and arguably as good as United before OGS took over) and played a strong team including Moutinho, Neves, etc.
The combined age of our right side of defence for 88 minutes is 2 years older than Moutinho ffs, Wolves were always favourites! Our first team only just edged them out in the game a couple of weeks back and they hammered Spurs.
The better side went through last night.

Klopp took a risk and it didn't pay off. No rhythm in the side and we were very disjointed and wolves fully deserved their win.
Teams lose games and it's a pity we are out of the cup early again but it is what it is.
If we win this weekend it's forgotten

Our experienced players let Klopp down and they are mainly fringe players so I am sure Klopp will know that some of our back up players are not good enough
The defence worries me though as it’s too injury prone. Some of them need replacing with consistently for players.
Was really happy for the young lads getting great experience. Hoever looked so composed it’s mental he is 16 and playing like that. We have some great youth players coming through the academy right now.

Rivals have been waiting over a month to win us for absolutely anything. Our C team losing to the full strength 7th best team in the country was enough.
