It's not a complex...you are inferior

your trophy cabinet will tell you this
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Chelsea are a financially doped club, and without the money their trophy cabinet would be just about the emptiest in London. Without the money Chelsea would have won next to nothing, and you lot know it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs spent 30 years spending beyond their means to bring success and bar a few FA Cups failed spectacularly while sides that spent a fraction like Forest won the big one's.

Or are you telling me Greaves, Ardilles, Villa and Linekar were funded solely on club money

Spurs have never spent beyond their means, all their signings have come from the club coffers. Unlike Chelsea they have never had to be bailed out from going under.

Don't think i have ever come across a bunch of supporters so happy to be skint.

Arsenal fans are depressed when the topic of their financial situation crops up (rumour is they have feck all transfer budget going forward) Spurs fans wear their situation as a badge of honour

Yeh all money generated from the club coffers, the Jimmy Greaves purchase came off the back of Spurs being the best run and most successful club in the country for a few years previous. Spurs have always shown how a club should be run.

Also not sure what Man United have to do with this article, although at the time Man United were breaking the British record transfer by buying Dennis Law for £115,000, so not sure were you got the idea United could not afford to pay their staff. I think you have been sold a pup with that one mate.

Pointless arguing about the past.
We must deal with NOW.
Here we have a team that can win things, you've said so yourself, Sandy.
And even you will admit that Eriksen is a crucial compenent of this team. He's 26, at his best now.
Why on earth dicker around and think of letting him go? Pay him what he's worth!

Ted, had you been at Wembley on Tuesday, you would have been hard pressed to offer him half a crown in old money, such was his totally woeful performance.

Have you totally forgoten all the match winning performances Eriksen has put in for us??
Do you really think he's suddenly deteriorated from an international star to a donkey?
I did not see the match. However reports suggest that Spurs were lucky to win and everyone on the Spurs side played below par.
Eriksen is entitled to an off night, especially when the club is dickering around with his contract requests.
Lets put that bad night down to the Levy factor.
We will see what happens in the next leg.
