Grillitsch apparently has a release clause of £18m. Have to be honest and say I know very little about him (by which I mean fack all).

Gotta say I hadn't heard of him until I saw this thread. As much as he looks good in the video, any professional footballer that isn't completely useless has enough moments of quality to make a short video of them and make them look good.

Meh. How about we put some serious cash down for once and show some ambition ? Sounds like another Stambouli MK 2. Put serious money on the table for Diawara.

Anybody remember the Stambouli video before we signed him? Lots of solid tackles turns and passes playing for Montpellier

I don't give a damn what the player's name is, but I hope to hell Levy buys us a couple of really good players this January.

We never seem to give some players that we sign a chance. I just hope whoever we sign gets game time. I think we need a big name even if he's close to 30 years old

That’s my point Ioavirgo. Why spend 20 odd million on some relative unknown, when we really should be splashing the cash on someone of higher quality.

I think we can only attract two type of players/CMs

1. Davids type signing Older quality CM
2. Talented relatively low demand player like Modric

I don't think we have a chance in signing a household CM in their prime.
