I think you’d admit that we need goals from anywhere on the park at the moment, something we previously tried with Iheanacho and he’s failed spectacularly at.

Apologies, it's not what you said, it was just my attempt at schoolboy humour

I think Barnes could be good in one of the three behind Vardy. I just feel it's a shame that he's come back when we effectively have nothing to play for.

My only thought that contradicts this is that sometimes it's good for a player not to get too comfortable at a loan club. That's why players are often loaned to different clubs rather than having multiple loans to the same one.

Imagine a situation where West Brom got promoted (very possible) and Barnes was an integral part of it, love by the fans. We don't want his head to be turned if he does have the potential that we all hope he has.

Oops, sorry Joby, I’d just read the estimate from my builder and was still in ‘WTF’ moment so missed the humour......
I’m hoping Barnes makes his debut as soon as possible, on the pitch, not in Dungeons dubious basement....
I’m off back to sea before kick off tomorrow so hope to read some match commentary on here, hopefully from Dublin but if anyone else has the opportunity?

I still think his development would have been best served seeing out the season at West Brom and then joining at first team in the summer, but anyway.

My thoughts originally but as Claude seems to have a good eye for bringing on the youngsters I'm quite excited about this development; hopefully we'll see Harvey play tomorrow.

I agree.

Maybe he'll help us in our final push for mid-table mediocrity, but its seems his time may have been better served staying at West Brom.

Now he's back, however, I'd like to see him start in the 3 behind Vardy. I'd try him, Maddison and Albrighton and ditch Gray. In fact, maybe we could send Gray to West Brom?

Where he might well tear up the Championship?

Gray's already made it at Championship level and has looked very good when we've played Championship teams in cups. It's consistent delivery in the Premier League that he needs to work on.
