Anyone else think we should be in for Morata this window? Chelsea wanted Lukaku back the summer we signed him and appear desperate to ship Morata out somewhere.
This provides the best opportunity for us to offload Lukaku at a value close to what we paid. Morata plus £30m would be a great deal (Considering they seem to value him at about £40m). Because there isn't another club in the world that would give us more than £50m.
We get rid of Heskey 2.0, recoup a few quid and get a technical striker in who can also play wide who has a very decent scoring record for Juve, Madrid and Spain despite not hitting the levels expected at Chelsea.
Lukaku has a ratio of 197 mins per goal this season
Morata has a ratio of 166 mins per goal this season
Morata + Cash for Lukaku?

If it forces the next manager to give squad berths and opportunities to the likes of Chong, Gomes, Tuanzebe, TFM, Garner, Hamilton, Greenwood, Barlow, Puigmal and Traore (both of whom will also qualify ), I'm absolutely fine with that. The talent is there.
We have LVG to thank for Rashford and Lingard, and thank him we should. If it takes a look at another fifteen Academy graduates to find another three like those two, it'd be well worth it.

More chance of Lukaku scoring a goal like Maradona did against England than that happening.

That goal could not get any more Lukaku.

The first touch sets the whole thing up basically. It's inspired.

That's an amazing goal! Thank you for sharing, Rosso.

I only discovered that whilst searching (in vain) for a clip of an (actually) incredible dribble he performed whilst at West Brom.
I think it might have been against Sunderland, and I'm not sure it resulted in a goal, but it truly was Maradona-esque.
I guess if JoS can nutmeg Figo...

This may not be quite Maradona-esque and obviously not WBA so not what you are thinking of. Still, damn fine effort to beat a couple of players and score.

we can look forward to a few of those during the rest of this season
