I wanted Wenger to go for few seasons and you know that Seebs.
If I may, I'd turn your view around and say the WOBs are so delighted that AW, that for them it is enough. Anyone but Wenger to the point that despite being just 2 points better off than last season, there's no room for criticism.

Yes Klopp needed time but he demonstrated he can win a championship with Dortmund. Same with Pep.
Emery best finish apart from PSG is 5th! So where does the believe come from?

The problem with the pro-Wenger crowd is that they are/were in complete denial about the issues Wenger had and left us with. And they expect someone to walk in with no cash spent and to miraculously fix these problems in an instant.

We are 5th now. If United win easily we might end up in 6th position.

Again you have ignore the fact that we spent £65M in the summer just on defensive players.
We probably don't have a better squad than the top 6 but surely we have better defensive players than Southampton?! No?

Torreira - You'd agree he's been brilliant so far
Sokratis - Been very good. Best defender after Holding
Leno - Average. Improvement on Cech
Guendouzi - A kid and one for the future
Lichtsteiner - Old and awful but apart from Wages cost us nothing.

So in actually fact we spent cash on just one defensive player, Sokratis and he's been miles better than Mustafi and Koscielny.


BTW, we also lost away to Southampton, Brighton, Bournemouth and many more under Wenger. So your logic on that doesn't add up.
