United catching us

They now have a very easy run in

That was so typical Spurs today, yes the media love in with United will continue but Spurs finishing was average at best today and most of their shots straight at De Gea who I will be honest and say did make some great saves for 2 or 3 of Spurs attempts

I'm concerned they'll be 3 points behind us after the Arsenal game

Yup. This is why I was confused by some of our fans wanting a Utd win today. Unless they think that Spurs might drop out of the top four. Seems unlikely.

Think it's between us and you. Arsenal seem in freefall. At the minute. If you bring in a top quality striker it will be really tough for us and that game at old Trafford is a must win.

Didn’t we have a easy run? Is this our new easy run

They're very fun to watch but I wouldn't be too concerned just yet. It's probably just my prospective but when dealing with the top end of the table I always put my money on the strong defense, and while we have our issues at the back no question United & most certainly Arsenal are far weaker in that respect. It's part of the benefit of Sarri's heavy possession tactics, it can be frustrating with our attacking players but the fact is the opposition can't score if they don't have the ball (cliche but true in this case compared to Emery & Solskjaer's setups).

United will definitely drop points the way Solskjaer has set them up and six points is a significant margin for error gap. If it gets to the stage where a United win at OT would see them overtake us then I'll be concerned.

Easy is the wrong word. Basically for a big six side, you should win the four games you had before Spurs.

And you did fair play.

We lost to Leicester and drew to Southampton in that period, so the fault for the closing gap is on us.

Yea those were the kind of games that we dropped points last year that eventually cost us at the end of the season.

The gap at the end of the season will be close, I think it will be 2-4 points in it, maybe more...

Would love Spurs to fall away now, Kane injured hopefully and son away for a few weeks!

If we can catch Chelsea we can catch Spurs too. They are only a PT further clear than you lot.

They may have lost Kane n Son together for next 3 weeks too. That could hurt them.

Only top 2 are a sure thing. After that it's 2 from 4 and Arsenal shouldn't be overlooked.

I think if we can get Higuain in for the Arsenal game that we will get the 3 points.. Good striker and get Hazard back into his best position. After Arsenal there is some winnable games.

Utd have some winnable games also in their next 3 before they play Arsenal at OT. They also have City and ourselves to play so I don't think its as straight a run in as you may think.

If we don't finish top 4 from the position we are in then we can have no complaints we simply don't deserve it.
