JA Charity - Potential Change

Bumping this up to get a wider opinion on the charity this year and catch anyone who missed the original post


A few years back we took a rough vote to award the Glasgow Children's Hospital the sought after title of unofficial JA606 Scotland charity.

We have had a few annual charity games raising thousands for a tremendous charity.

However I am going to ask you to give your thoughts on changing it for this year.

I'd like to raise for St Andrews Hospice in Airdrie. As you may well know now, this is the hospice that Fernando Ricksen is to spend the rest of his life. Like most hospices they required constant fundng just to keep running but the service they provide never drops.

I think it is safe to say that everyone is touched by what Ricksen is going through.

It is not my choice but the forum as a whole as it is the forum who come together to raise the money for charity.

I think there are 3 options available

1. All proceeds to St Andrews Hospice
2. A split of proceeds (easy to do online)
3. Remain as is and Glasgow Children's Hospital continue with our support

My vote is for option 1 for this year.
