Darmian & Fellaini off to Italy?

How many times have we been selling Darmian? I’ve honestly lost count.

The weird thing is I’d actually keep him until the end of the season due to our fullback situation and get rid of Fellaini and Rojo first. It’s a very unpopular opinion but Darmian I think is a decent defender, problem is he is sheite on the ball

Darmian will see his contract out and go on a free this summer I reckon.

Calciomercato is about as reliable as the daily star, maybe even less so.

Fed up with Fellaini and fed up of the likes of Darmian/Rojo who are getting paid to do feck all.

I don't mind Darmian. Would rather Smalling, Lindelof, Bailly be our CB options with Darmian as cover and then sell Jones and Rojo. Darmian isn't great going forward but usually pretty decent defensively. If we were playing a three at the back I'd certainly consider him for one of the wider CB positions as he'd be comfortable going out wide.

Darmian did a decent job for us as a centre back recently. Our main frustration with him as a fullback has been his final product going forward. We ought to hold on to him for the rest of the season as cover, because he won't hurt us if we call upon him. But he needs to go for his own sake this summer, ffs he's an international and how many minutes has he logged this season? I think the writings officially on the wall for Groot now, too. But we can get some real money for these lads - let's be smart and wait for an offer, It sickens me to see Ed give away our players for chump change.
