Higuain

I have been campaigning for us to get a class striker for a long time now, so this certainly isn’t knee jerk because of Kane’s latest injury, but if there is any time to go for a striker of quality, then it’s now whilst we are in this utter crisis.

We should be doing everything in our power to get Higuain. If it means grabbing him on loan for this season or paying the required money for a top striker, then bloody do it. The Argentine connection with Pochettino could help and he is available. A striker and a central midfielder are both desperately needed this window and this was before the injuries started piling up.

Could see this coming a mile off last summer when we had that ridiculous transfer window of signing zero players. It’s now come back to bite us in the a** Just as predicted. Had we signed the appropriate players, we would have sufficient cover for this right now. Honestly think this could be season changing. Time to open up your wallet baldy!!!

To be honest with you, I wouldn’t even criticise Levy for not doing it. It’d be a bad signing for Spurs. Though I’m not sure who else is out there that’d be attainable.

I would take Higuain, but he will be too expensive for Levy`s wallet.

More realistic in my opinion would be somebody like Timo Werner, we have been linked to him in the past and he scores 1 in 2 for club and country.

Werner would be seriously expensive

Yea that’s what I thought

But we've been told by Spurs fans that their squad players are good enough to hell them win trophies, so Kane's injury shouldn't be a big deal.

I was looking forward to the Dortmund matches - assuming we had a fit squad.
I thought we might even beat them.
And then it would be open field running for a chance to win the Euro Champs.
Not anymore.
This policy of "no signings" has come back to haunt this club.
Anyone think Levy might actually go out and gt a couple of top rank players?
There must be some we've been tracking that no on here has ever heard of!
Will Levy do anything?

You do have two stickers on your book Llorente and Jannsen. You could use them. CM might be a bit more pressing than CF, especially with MD going.

Jannsen has been told he's not going to be involved in the first team.

Llorente was also told a few days ago that he can leave. Now he's been told he has to stay. Must do wonders for his confidence...

It's a mess
