So, fresh from spygate, moorgate, leedsgate or whatever did anything else happen? Not a lot really and I mean not a lot as unfortunately we rolled over, took no individual responsibility and we're lucky to lose by only two. Still, not to worry as we are what we are and not the finished article. Even though, the manner..........
January transfers beckons and it seems we need to get rid of some before we can dabble. High amongst those that need to go is Mr Bryson who Frank wants to keep and BJ who Mel wants to keep and each wants to get rid of the other ......or is it the other way Around?
Charlie Austin isn't playing for them - good, but do Southampton really want this game? Or do we? I know posters will,go,on about the romance, tradition and worth of the FA Cup but unless you are going to win is it more important than avoiding relegation or promotion to the EPL?
Derby County's Harry Wilson is back in contention after missing the last two games with a hip problem but he is not the Messiah.
I'm only posting this to assuage Baz's guilt and provide entertainment for Ang.
Team to be announced.
Southampton 2-2 Derby County AET (3-5 pens)

VAR is rubbish, okay for set piece games like cricket but football is a flowing game, doesn't need these delays. Perfectly good goal disallowed because of idiots. That isn't what we pay for when we go to matches.

It’s awful. It never occurred to me that our goal would be disallowed, and for their second I relaxed safe in the knowledge it would be overturned. It robs the viewer, especially the viewer at the match, of the excitement of the moment.

How dare Strett make comments about Keogh or any central defender when Forest play Heffalump, the worst footballer on the planet.

In my comments after the game I forgot completely to mention Roos. He had a great game in goal and he should get more game time.
As for Strett's comments - a bit of envy creeping in for him. I think I'm right that Forest are out of the cup and concentrating on the league now.

Yes, I thought Roos looked like a proper goalie. Confident in the air, didn’t look out of his depth at all. Difficult to know what is best for him, whether to go out on loan or not. Goalie is a position you can’t really rotate.
