Out for a month probably even longer when you factor in getting fit when he’s back training. Whilst it feels like a kick in the teeth all these injuries, it has actually come at the perfect time in terms of the Jan window. There is absolutely no excuse for Spurs to not strengthen now, we are literally desperate now.
We are missing key players for a large chunk of our season and it could honestly ruin our season if we don’t rectify this quickly. Not to mention the Dembele sale which now looks a stupid decision. Starting to really get a bad feeling about this season now just don’t have the confidence Levy will sort this mess out.
Moussa Sissoko update

I know he's improved but he's still shlite. The fact we are mourning his loss for 4-5 weeks says EVERYTHING about the state of our squad.
Said it earlier today... should not be surprised given the way poch pushes them and the amount of games played over the last 3 seasons + Summer footy.
I dunno why but we used to hear about more players from all clubs being in the "red zone" after playing a lot, esp after summer tournaments.... Don't hear as much these days
Only exception being Ozil, that guy never made it to "Orange"

Good news! Son has been subbed out in the 89th min.

Aye that’s true. Levy’s a funny one, from the outside I’ve always felt while he’s done an excellent job rebuilding the club and getting you where you have been. He’s also held you back and been the big reason that you’ve failed to get over the line in so many of your endeavours the last decade or so.

If you're still in need of short term backup for Kane, you can always try this fellow.

He's going relatively cheap @ only £15m.

looking at the headline I'd rather sign Solskjaer than Fellaini

any chance we could get Teddy back.... I bet he's still better than Llorente...... probably the same age

The only downside of short term fixes is you'll probably end up with a substandard player that's 5th on your wish list.
Unless you pay top dollar, the best talents prefer to wait till the summer to jump ship and top clubs are reluctant to sell in January anyway.
Putting my pessimistic Spurs hat on I called this a few weeks ago claiming we would loose one of Winks or Sissoko. Its just so Spursy to throw a spanner in the works when things are going well.
Hopefully Dier can get back to fitness asap. Be surprised if we don't get one player in now.

Apparently Sissoko will only miss one game and should be back for the semi final 2nd leg.

Conflicted reports Amanda. Some are saying a month still. I highly doubt he will be back next week. But even with Sissoko fit, we still desperately need a Dembele replacement

Believe that when I see him donning that lillywhite shirt. I have zero faith in their injury updates.
