If I found Bielsa in bed with my wife...

I would tuck him in....I know it's an old joke but I reckon all Leeds fans feel the same.

Hopefully this spy nonsense will disappear especially as Derby Police have confirmed there were no pliers or change of clothing that Frank Lampard mentioned. And nor did the Police interrupt the Derby training session so a lot of BS being spread trying to play mind games and trying to derail our promotion challenge.

Peakwhite - There isn't a link there to the "Full article". Hence I asked for one and said the one you did provide a link for is a poor article to reference. It didn't give details nor are all cases of proven spying.

Come next month, I'll have been living abroad for 10 years and that match happened when I was living in Korea. It may or may not have been common knowledge but there isn't much I can find in it. That could be simply to do with the 'Great Firewall' here

Macca- That is a good point about Keown. He did play in an unsporting manner and then to come out and condemn this does come across tad hypocrital.

Have the Derbyshire Police actually confirmed there were no pliers or a change of clothes?

I’d love a link if anyone has one.

Cheers

What I've read says that they can't and havent told anyone apart from the EFL about what the guy had on him. That is something that has been entirely made up.

Frank's been lying. Notice how that isn't national news.

Strange Lubo, strange. Why would the police be unable to tell anyone what he had on him? The only reason I can think is that it's to do with privacy.

In which case why would they tell the EFL? It wasn't EFL land, indeed, as far as the police are concerned it has nothing to do with the EFL.

I'm no legal expert, but that sounds a bit iffy to me.

On their Twitter feed it was basically them saying over and over that it's not their investigation and all their information has been handed over to the EFL, due to it not being a criminal investigation.

I am also no legal expert, but I would have imagined that if it was clear that this man was trying to break into private property, as Lampard has suggested, that he would have been taken in instead of just being asked to leave.

Yes, I would certainly agree with that. Just interested in why they couldn't release details to the public but would to the EFL, when the EFL have no jurisdiction over people watching training. Seems strange to me.

However, I suspect they'll be a few things that will never be entirely clear about the incident!

Lampard was quite categoric that the 'spy' was on his hands and knees with a pair of pliers( not wire cutters???) and a change of clothing. What utter downright bollox! The police stated everything was above board and let him go. If Frank's version was true, the police would have arrested him on suspicion of trying to trespass onto private property and of going equipped to cause criminal damage in the process. He was actually on public land peering through the perimeter fence. Totally legal and something Derby fans do regularly. I've driven past the spot and seen the odd few. Lampard is a lying fooker!
