Team for Stoke announced: BPF, Cooper, Ayling, Jansson, Alioski Forshaw, Klich, Clarke,Harrison, Pablo & Roofe
_______________
12.25pm: The scene is set - no power point presentation today
Marcelo is here...(again)
On Kiko Casilla...
Of course we needed an alternative for the goalkeeper position. I don't have to make any comment on Casilla because his career speaks for itself and the fact that he has chosen to play in Leeds is a successful institution. Victor Orta is responsible for the arrival of Kiko Casilla and the analysis of his skills with his play has been done by Marcus Abad our goalkeeping coach. The fact that the goalkeeper from Real Madrid comes to Leeds - I think the owner of the club should be proud at being able to try to attract this kind of play.
Stoke, beat them on the first day...
There was a lot of enthusiasm for that game, our team wanted to show its skills and the fans wanted to see a game against a team that played in the Premier last year. It was an important win apart from the three points.
What expect from Stoke under Jones?
We prepared the game taking into account the starting XI and taking into account our XI will be the following...
BPF, Cooper, Ayling, Jansson, Alioski Forshaw, Klich, Clarke,Harrison, Pablo & Roofe
On Stoke...
We want to show that we can have several positive results in a row
Injuries latest...
Berardi will play next Monday and if everything goes well he will be in the group for the next game.
Dallas started the training sessions with the group today and Douglas will do the same tomorrow, they won't play next Monday but they will play the next under 23s games and if everything goes well they will be in the team.
It will be the same for Bamford but maybe he will need a bit more time so these three players will be available in the next ten days and also Kalvin Phillips will come back as he has been suspended for three games and we solved the injury of Jamal Blackman with the signing of Casillas
On Casillas
I think he is the complete player. He is good in the aerial game. He is a good player when he has to block shots from the opponent, he is a player with personality, he is good with his foot and with balls in the air, we can't say that one of these aspects is his strong point but I don't see any weak points.
Can he start now?
Today has been his first training session, what I can say is that he won't play against Stoke, even if he is fit he won't play against Stoke and we will see the evolution in the next few days and take a point of view.
Bielsa on Izzy Brown..
The figures that we take into account when a player hasn't played for a year, this year shows that the player needs six games to regain his fitness and be ready for a high competition game, we will see if if six games is enough if it is too much or if if it is not enough
What impact can Brown make?
Brown will have to show that he can play. Not to me obviously, he will have to prove himself. I think he has been elected the best player of the Championship a few years ago (at Huddersfield). I am taking this example to show that he has already shown his skills, when you don't play for a year you have doubts about the level of the player, it's not about confidence because Izzy Brown is very confident, it's not about work because he is a very serious professsional. But the idea is to take his willingness and his confidence and his work to be at the place where he has been at the past and this is a work that he are all involved in and we have hope about it.

Bielsa Press Conference: Pre-Stoke

What did you expect from Stoke?
We can't have any doubt about the quality of the players of Stoke, my point of view is not important but you just have to look at the games that they play. And it's a team which has the skills to have a higher rank than they have now. Every time I look at the results after a game we have more unexpected results than expected ones, I think the attractive aspects of the Championship is the unexpected results you can get. If I had to describe the Championship I would say the one who wants to win is not the one who wins and if the favourite team wins it's never easy for the favourite team, it means the differences in the table, you don't see them when you see the game.
How will Casillas be integrated into team
I will do the same thing for each position for each player. The role of the players is to show they are better than the others. The role of a player is to be compared with others, the profession of a player is to be compared with others because we compare to them to see who will be the starter and we compare them with the best ones to see who will go to the national team, we compare them with the rest to buy them or sell them so they know they are submissive to comparisons, It's just something that is in the profession.
On Nathan Jones and Stoke - his appointment?
Head coaches express themselves through the games of their teams. You have head coaches who give traditional answers with common things not new things and you have inventive head coaches and I think he is a head coach that has creation. He is not a traditional head coach.
On being four points clear
What happened in the past few days is something complex and the focus was put on that and not on the football.
That's it from Marcelo who has named his full XI for the game against Stoke - unchanged
Peacock-Farrell, Ayling, Alioski, Cooper, Jansson, Forshaw, Klich, Clarke, Harrison, Hernandez, Roofe

Few bits from Cooper:
______________
Here's Coops...
A slight pause as the Sky cameraman needed the loo.
On the Stoke win in August..
We went into the game full of confidence and it was a win win situation for us. To get a positive result like that, it really set us up for now.
On the pressures at Leeds
Being at Leeds United is a pressure in itself, it's a massive club that expects success, we are heading in the right direction but there's a long way to go and we are coming into crunch time now
On Bielsa
As soon as speaks he has you enticed, he comes and demands respect and what a chance to go and prove yourself in front of one the best managers in the world. The attention to detail is something else, we go on to that pitch with not one excuse.
On Toby Nye
He meant the world to me and to the club as well. I got to know him well, he was a beautiful young boy and hopefully we can all come together and celebrate him in the coming weeks.
Cooper on Spygate
"I'm sick of hearing about it to be honest. It's all over with, that's why Marcelo did the press conference yesterday. Let's talk about football now."

I just copied and pasted, didn't bother counting. Klich is missing.

Sol, it was their mistake not yours.

That's a dirty trick isn't it, conning Stoke into thinking Klich will not be playing, after him taking the p first game of the season.

Great to hear that berardi is close to returning.

More from Cooper on game prep etc.:
____________
Bielsa claimed much of the information gleaned was “useless” but Cooper said: “It’s massive. Going into a game you can have different factors which disorientate you or make you better. All this information helps us. Like Marcelo said, it gets rid of that anxiety of not doing it.
“The attention to detail is something else. We go on to the pitch with not one excuse. It’s great going into games without that one extra doubt in your mind, that a team could come up with something that surprises us. So far this season no-one has.”
From Steven Gerrard to Neil Warnock - what opposition mangers have said about Marcelo Bielsa and Leeds United's 'spygate' saga Cooper also credited Leeds’ table-topping form to Bielsa, saying: “One hundred per cent. You’re in the presence of the same group of players (as last season) getting coached by one of the best coaches in the world.
“We couldn’t believe it when the club went and got him. He’s an unbelievable man and a nice man as well. “
The league speaks for itself. The league doesn’t lie. We’ve won the most games and we’ve lost the least but 19 games left is a hell of a lot and there’s plenty up for grabs.”

This was a link in the article.
Wide range of reactions - from "the sky is falling" in to "whats the big deal?"
Chris Wilder may have said it best:
"Is it ethical? Possibly not. Is it something we would do? No. But there are other parts of the game that upset me more, parts that aren't being addressed."
