Reni is a great singer too, better than Mr Brown many times in my opinion.

Ian is terrible live. Always has been sadly. Although I love his voice on the records.

Him at Reading was the worst I ever saw. I didn;t think he was that bad at Heaton Park a few years ago though

We did 2 of the days at Heaton Park and he wasn't that bad, no. Probably helped having 75,000 there though. The nostalgia of it all.

The Bar queues were an absolute farce though. Horrendous.

Yep saw him at Leeds was awful. Had to leave half way couldn’t hack him.

We went once and got as many as we could get when we finally got to front. Went back and saw the chaos and thought feck that. Hahahaha.

It was a dodgy walk back into town afterwards that night, saw a few fights.

I do agree that nostalgia can make for selective hearing too. Thinking back, as much as I say he was good, I think it was more the crowd were drowning him out!
