Not trying usurp Juke's excellent movie thread as it looks as if it has
legs, but I won't have net signal for a day or so will prob forget
to put this up.
Downloaded the 2 bios that are on BBCiPlayer on Billy Connolly.
TBH I've always had mixed vibes about the guy.
Worshipped him when I was a teenager.
Cooled a bit when he went into his shouty and sweary phase.
I've fallen back in love with the guy again in my late autumn years.
I'm not emotive or overly emotional but had a lump in
my throat a couple of times.
And it wasn't Pointy's helmet.
Highly recommended and on for almost another year.

Not gonna lie.. I had a wee year in my eye at the end of the second part
Also helped convince me to go to my GP and do something about my depression

Juke mate๐ฅ
Sorry to hear you are a fellow sufferer from the black dog moods and I did a thread called Black Dog of Depression if you click on my username.
Some smart dudes have advice there, as did i๐
My depression was diagnosed as moderate five years back, so I had time off work, went to care call through the civil service and then got counselling via my GP.
Sessions were great and the girl just asked, tell me your darkest thoughts and we went from there, but do this through the doctor, mate, as I also got Vensor meds.
The happy pills are also supposed to get you opening up and talking ,like E or beer๐I began chatting to guys and girls at work and discovered many were in the same boat on the same pills etc, so you are not alone or weird๐
Going outside to walk, run o r cycle helped me...fresh air and nature, as Mighty knows, is a natural high!
Also got into relaxing, Mindfullness books and CD meditation and breathing deeply and slowly to calm down and savour the here and now!
Mindfulness teaches you to appreciate the now...eating chocolate slowly and taking it all in, or watching a comedy of film in that moment, doing nowt else, and not worrying about other stuff!
If you wanna chat, let me know Juke and keep the head up๐ช
Do what girls and women do and talk about your feelings....why they live longer ๐๐
Good luck and God bless.....if you have any faith or spiritual side, to there too๐

Tbbab...back in the 70's The Times sent a man up from london to watch an OF game from the Rangers end at parkhead.
The poor fella said all he could remember was being terrified for 90 minutes and that every rangers player seemed to be called either Big Man or Wee Man.
