Silly old goat

Driving at 97 years old ffs.

Is it any wonder he’s in a car crash.

When the fwck will the law be changed to enforce driving test re takes at 65 and repeated every two years or so.

Every time I get in the car with either of my parents or parents in law I’m terrified.

Glorious sunshine and trying to indicate bit switch on the window wipers.

Sorry I'm late.
I assume someone has already mentioned that 90% of women should have their licence taken off them pretty much immediately?
Lezzers are probably okay. With an additional test.

I would back proposals to introduce licence resits for everyone following an accident, or a licence valid for 10 years, to force better driving habits. Provided initial licence cost accounted for this. But I wouldn't put an age limit on that. This idea age causes accidents is rubbish. Bad drivers have crashes, not old drivers.

I think in all probability that Nick the Greek will not be driving on public roads again 👍

Once we are out of the EU everyone's driving will improve.

interesting that after only a day or so, they are now to put speed cameras up on that stretch of road...

the bypass around the town where I lived had to have ~6 road deaths before the council sat up and took notice and did something about it.

noticed he has a nice shiny new car the day after also....

That is the worst of this. The old codger drove out of a side road and into the path of another vehicle that had right of way. His fault entirely as far as I can see.

So let’s improve the road. At a time when roads the length and breadth of the country aren’t maintained due to lack of cash. Where potholes and roadworks are a daily bane of everyone’s life. What a spiffing idea. That local authority should have its funding shared elsewhere if they have money to waste.

As for the age thing of course there should be an age barrier to just keeping your license. People slow down and their instincts aren’t the same as they age. Scientific fact.
