Well wasn't that nice? Another premier league coup and on real tele. Really enjoyed that on Wednesday night and neutral colleagues have said how much they enjoyed the game. AND we forced the Prime Minister onto the nation's 2nd channel which was only right.
Which brings us to - especially with my jaundiced, biased, tunnel vision to all things Derby County - why are we so bad when we are bad? Why are we so good when we are good and why are we so mediocre when we are mediocre?
Changes from the Southampton game are expected. However not as many as the six made for the FA cup game. Rumour has it that a number ( which means anything from 1-7) academy prodigies may be on the bench.
The omens are against us doing our first league double this season as we have done it to Reading for 14 years. However Reading have not won consecutive matches for well over a year. So.............Derby had just 37% possession in their 0-2 defeat by Leeds United - their lowest in a Championship match, which shows somehow that spying helps.
Richard Keogh, Keogh, Keogh, Keogh.......I just don't get the animosity........does he really make a disproportionate number of fnck ups compared to other Championship central defenders?

Roos looked sound. No complaints. Did all you would expect and looked comfortable.

Roos... on loan at Bristol Rovers in 2016/17 was a bit of a liability according to my gashead mates.
Roos ... on loan at Argyle more recently was highly regarded.
I was impressed with him at Soton and, whilst I'd have Carson straight back in when fit, it's good to have 2 decent keepers in reserve in Roos and Mitchell
