Give credit where its due

Today was a result and performance so alien to arsenal it was a pure Emery victory. Fairly solid, route one stuff at times but gave us our first significant win against Chelsea in the league for a couple of years.

Emery hats off. Now he needs backing in transfer market to kick on for top four

Nothing to moan about. We won and Emery got everything spot on!

Interestingly, since September 2016, we've only lost to Chelsea 2 times in the last 10 meetings for all competitions (W5, D3, L2).

I'm glad that we put up a fight against them and don't roll over like we did for the majority of 2005 - 2015. Our record against them was absolutely diabolical throughout that period.

Nice to see us reversing that trend in recent times

Personally I think Chelsea were extremely poor today.

That said, it shows what we're capable of when we have our best XI on the pitch. Unfortunately, looking at Bellerin it will probably be the last time this season.

Emery certainly needs backing, we're not going to shake our injury curse anytime soon.

First time since our unbeaten run that we’ve seen the team all work hard for the whole game. Much better organisation from everyone

It was a fine performance, the question is can we repeat this sort of work away from home - if we can then we still have a top 4 chance.
