Who should be our starting keeper for the rest of the season....Bain or big scheitbag?
I'm 100% sure that Rodgers will stick with his big girlfriend but for me Bain has to get a run.
Reasons are -
1 only one goal conceded in ten starts (I think)
2 the only advantage Gordon has is that he is taller. That's mainly a benefit cross balls (which he's useless at anyway) and at penalties where a bigger keeper can seem to fill the goal (unfortunately big feartie is unable to make that advantage count). Obviously there's a small amount of shots that a bigger keeper might save that a shorter one won't but I doubt if that's a significant number.
3 we will need to buy a keeper in the next year or two. Makes sense to see if Bain can be the number one before we do that.
4 the defence seems more confident and settled when Bain is playing.
5 I seem more confident and settled when Bain is playing.
Thoughts?

Bain deserves a run to see what he can do over the long term. Zaluska looked good as a no.2 but couldn't handle being no.1
I think the general consensus is that Gordon is probably the better keeper, but Bain looks to be a better fit for Rodgers system and playing out from the back.

Bain wasn't rated particularly highly at Dundee, can only assume he has a mistake in him.

Bain has shown that he deserves a run at number 1. It should be a good incentive fir Gordon to sharpen up his act 👍
