Coutinho to Chelsea or Man U..

Thoughts on this?

Not long after his departure I wrote an article sayin he will be a Barcelona flop and was called out as bitter.. Well now it’s pretty clear he is a Barcelona flop..

The latest news is he has a 100 million asking price and Chelsea are willing to match it.

After Sarri’s public criticisim of his own players we might see him jumping out the frying pan into the fire.

He has always been a confidence player I remember when we signed him he was a lost boy with plenty talent. He was allowed to develop into the player Barcelona wanted so badly. However he seems to me like he always needed a manager who completely believes in him and apart from perhaps his last 12 months was always guilty of having inconsistent spells with us Klopp took him to a more consistent level with us.

If he does go to Chelsea does anyone think we will see the old Coutinho in the form he was in towards the end of his Liverpool career or is he going to stutter for form due to lack of confidence? I personally think it’s a bit of a gamble for Chelsea as he really needs an arm around you confidence booster style man manager and don’t think Sarri is that to be honest.

In hindsight which is a beautiful thing I bet deep down he wishes he never left us...

Also on the other hand I wouldn’t take him back either he burnt his bridges and I think as a team we have got better since he left as amazing as that sounds. Good luck to him wherever he ends up funny old game football he probably regrets that transfer more than us Liverpool fans where as at the time it felt like a hammer blow. The transfer businesss it allowed us to carry out brought us forward leaps and bounds instead of going backwards.

Didn’t he start pretty well in Barca? Had a pretty decent World Cup too. Seems strange he’s fallen out of favour so quickly.

Barca spent 140m to get him. They will replace the manager before selling him. Another manager will probably play him more. Non story.

Can you imagine his life away from the pitch if he joined us?You'd have dippers trying to physically hurt him.

Right so in the next 11 days we will see Kane move to Barcelona, Coutinho to Chelsea and Luis Suarez to Arsenal.

Can't wait.

a) I'd be interested to know if we got a buy back cluase in there somewhere.

b) If he goes to utd he will seal his fate as most reviled player ever.. even more than owen and what sterling gets will be only A TENTH OF WHAT HE DOES... just saying...

c) cheslea... who cares.

Liverpool need to freshen up if they are going to hold off city

Suarez would be huge upgrade on Morata, but for him to return to England you need to influence press etc...

Chelsea don’t have the power Liverpool have. Suarez to Liverpool could shoot you to title

Couts could help Liverpool in tight CL games

Would love Suarez back, would wind everyone up.

Also will mean Barca won’t sell Couts..
