I thought it was only going to be a week or two. Poch said he didn't think Dele would make the Chelsea game, indicating he didn't think it would be a major problem.

Doubt you'll get past both Chelsea and City for the league cup, prem and CL, no chance, so the FA Cup would probably be your only chance.

Depends whether it’s a strain or tear, and then on the severity of the tear or strain. But 2 weeks is slightly optimistic

Depends how bad, if it is only a strain it will only take a few days, if it is a tear much longer.

Problem with hamstrings is not to let them get chronic, so you keep on re injuring them. That means being conservative and giving them the time needed to really heal.
The difference between a strain and a tear is not well defined, to put it mildly.
I would hope Alli gets the best treatment possible. And the player's tendency to come back ASAP is resisted.
