Pleasing, very pleasing.
A few things jumped out at me about that performance last night. Our pressing game, see when the whole team presses like that then teams can’t live with it, it’s been missing far too often this season but last night it was in full flow and we were comfortable winners.
Actually pretty impressed with Burke last night, well after he got his goal that is, he was brutal before it 3 times the ball bounced off him and into St Mirren possession. After his goal though he was very good, took his 2nd goal well too, will do him the world of good for confidence so hopefully he kicks on.
Timothy Weah again impressed from off the bench, boys a wonderful talent and his desire and workrate is outstanding for an 18 year old boy from PSG.
4 goals from 2 games from our 2 new signings and you can’t ask for much more since we started back, 2 games, 7 goals and 0 conceded
McGregor was my MOTM last night but Sinclair was also very good.
To think we still have Edouard, Bayo, Rogic and KT to add to that team.
One final point, pleased to see Bain remain in goals, a sign he’s now the number 1? We can but dream.
Anyway, 1 point clear of Killie now in 2nd place, 3 clear of 3rd and 4th. We have a vastly superior goal difference on all of those teams and with our game in hand next Wednesday, things could look very pretty at the top. Not to mention a home game against Hamilton on Saturday
A 6 or 7 point gap at the top by end of January after that OF game is exactly how I wanted us to respond, well on course for it.

The Ukrainian Paddy Roberts is on his way do not worry. All left foot plays on the right and has some skill. Good times ahead.
It will however overshadow the need for a right back until we get roasted in europe or beat in the league. Unless we buy wan! Gumny would be ideal he seems young and cheapish but still with a decent level and could be developed.

Yea but we cannot stop picking up decent players for the future. Not the supposed best of the rest from Scotland, they (some) are not good enough at stepping up into a Celtic jersey.
