Thierry Henry sacked already?

Awful results, most of these ex players got paid millions from Sky criticizing managers and look at them now. They can't do jack themselves. It's a bit embarrassing .

Did anyone think the mumbling bumbling Henry was going to do well ?

His arrogant and aloof persona should have been enough reason for Monaco to not hire him.

He is too arrogant and I think he is the type that would fall out with players

Yes, but look at his timing. He's a perfect fit for Arsenal's annual January bottling party.

The new Wenger. Silly for them not to sign him up.

His biggest mistake was taking that job in the first place. Jardim was doing one of the finest managerial jobs in club football there over the last few years and was only seen to fail due to the extraordinary asset stripping that's been going on over the years. Players like Tielemans clearly only came with the hope of being sold a year or two later. Impossible to manage. And then for a rookie? Fool. I doubt Guardiola, Klopp, Ancelotti or Wenger could have done so much better.

Would not make a wider comment on his managerial ability from this. Only on his idiotic ego for taking it on.

Didn't Thierry have another job offered which was more to his level?

Villa wasn't it? Although that is also a big job for your first.

Their squad is much better than a bottom 3 team, any decent manager should have been able to move them up the league. Henry insulting his own and opposition players not the best idea! He's not cut out for management imo. Vieira seems to be doing ok with Nice though.

You'd think that like Zidane he'd have some sort of impact just from his name and legendary status alone.

Even Sol Campbell is faring better.

I believe Henry will be given another chance in management but he needs to pick his next club carefully

Since Henry got sacked, Monaco are showing the form of a CL side lol. If they sacked Henry sooner or kept Jardim they most likely would have had a chance to qualify for the CL.
