I just cannot decide if this player is any good!
Early season he had done well but the last two games when we have really needed him he has been really poor.
I think I prefer it when he comes off the bench.
About yesterday’s game I am not too despondent as we did well second half and the fact that it is city in the final, if it was another team I probably would have been more gutted!

Lamela is and has never been good enough for a Team that would want to challenge for titles, hes a squad player no more one of a number we have

Always frustrates me ,roll over after roll over , yellow card risk with every tackle, off the bench when winning 3-0 for me , show pony .

Chicken was over the top with his criticism. Lamela might not be the best but he's better than Lennon and Townsend were at the time yet Chicken didn't think so.

He has a good eye for a pass... but often doesn't quite get the pace of pass right!!
Still too lightweight but love his work rate. Frustrating to watch at times but can produce something could usually when you and he expects it!!
