'Cept bubble of course - he's more machine
I made it back to Metropolis late pm & I have imbibed a few more Friday
drams than usual.
Here's to the immortal memory of the Bard.
Robert Burns spoke about, to, and for ordinary folk in a way that
had never been done before.
He was also a man who meant well at all times, was literate, and witty.
But also could be deeply flawed.
What a JA member he would have been !

Aye they were so good you had to google them
I rate Burns highly mate.
He wrote about ordinary people and things and gave them dignity.
In an age when only people of inherited wealth were accorded this.
The Establishment saw him as a dangerous agitator.
He was a Freemason which meant he was an early Trade Unionist.
Today Freemasonry is more akin to exclusion and sectarianism.
