I can’t see United being too fussed about getting Trophy Dodger Poch
He’s a great coach and can improve any player, but he’s just not a winner
I’ve no real faith in him winning anything, he’s had a very good team last 4 years and we’ve not really come close
Oh well at least we can look forward to being the new Arsenal just qualifying for top 4 in our new stadium
Poch

I don't want Poch gone, but IMO with the players he has at his disposal he should have won a trophy by now. Forget what he has spent and think about the players he has at his disposal and has had for 3 or so seasons.

But these days trophies are dominated by ‘the elite’.
Haven’t checked the facts but suspect the spread of wins and final appearances has reduced a lot.

This is conveniently overlooked by many.

And what is also overlooked is those players are often rested because Poch needs them to qualify for the CL.
They don’t have enough top players.

Must admit Poch has a ready made excuse with the Bald Ones lack of spending
However, managers have won cups with much worse teams and squads, have they not

Spurs had the best defence and one of the best midfields and attack’s a couple of seasons ago, transfer budget was irrelevant at that point

Transfer budget has always been relevant, particularly when considering performances in competitions away from the league.
That’s because I think most people would say their first choice team is excellent and it’s their squad that lets them down.

I agree, I have stuck with him after all the disappointments, but he surely cannot keep getting a free ride, he really should be getting this squad of players over the line.
His team selection today was a major reason why Spurs will never win a domestic trophy under Poch. There is a lot of talk about how Poch may not hang around, well it works both ways, with a different manager, could Spurs perhaps get over the line?
The team is certainly not playing anywhere near what it was two or three years back.

It mattered when they needed an excuse.

Berst squad was the season we came second to Leicester.
Rose & Walker blazing up the wings, Kane in the middle, Jan & Toby at the back, and Dembele in form.
WTF is going to happen when Dortmund come to town?
