We all know the next EPL game is the bigger game and no doubt if we went full strength vs Palace and picked up more injuries or were jaded on Weds vs Watford Poch would be criticised for team selection.

People like Don have been criticising Poch's team management through the busy Christmas but the schedule hasnt really eased with the Carabao SF, with the need to put a full strength team out there too. Eriksen is one of the few who has not been rested much at at. When is a good time to rest him. Its not like we had Burton in the SF or a lower league team in the FA Cup.

Poch is dammed if does and dammed if he doesnt.

Very true.

Imagine if Eriksen played against Palace and got injured because he was in need of some rest. We'd then have probably lost that game and been without Eriksen as well for the next few weeks, which would have seriously impacted our league performances for the next month.

I will trust in Poch that he knows better than the football experts on here that think every single game of the season needs the same strongest 11 playing.

Not necessarily. You have to rotate at times, to not only rest first team players but give squad players a chance and keep a happy shop.

Besides, we're just keep up this season's form by not drawing anyone tonight.

If you go out to Dortmund, you can concentrate on what really matters to Levy, Finishing in the top four. Then Poch has to demand more from Levy. If the finances are tied to the stadium, then you'll just have to look at your north London rivals to see what's in store.

They couldn't keep their best players as they wanted to win things. The difference is that you could make over £100m on at least one player. Eriksen, too, depending on the contract situation. Others players could go for £60m+. But then you'll have to invest that in the squad and being cheap about it might not get you anywhere.

We can defend Poch til the cows come home, because he is the best manager we have had in decades. BUT, there is a way Poch can be blameless and that is to bring the club a trophy. With the players he has had at his disposal for the last 3 seasons, he should have won a trophy. Simple.
