Celtic v St Johnstone

Big game tonight, St Johnstone should be a few levels above our previous 3 opponents however they had a poor result at the weekend at Tynecastle without registering a shot on goal so we should be winning tonight and hopefully with a bit to spare.

Team news:

Benkovic out, Boyata who knows, Bayo not ready, Ntcham injured, Rogic who knows, Tierney out

Bain
Lustig
Ajer
Simunovic/Bitton
Izaguirre
Brown
McGregor
Forrest
Christie
Sinclair
Burke

Subs:

Gordon, Bitton/Jozo, Hayes, Weah, Henderson, Johnston & Edouard

Prediction 2-0

Ghod finally got a prediction right this season

Pity it wasn’t on a Predictor league

Wasn't as cold as I thought it might be tonight. That's really as much as I'm qualified to say.

Benkovic out for 5 weeks.

Brown 2 year deal almost done.

Shved deal done, heading back to Ukraine for the rest of the season.

Rodgers expecting one more player in.

2 or 3 to go out on loan.

Nante and St Etienne have a minutes applause in the 9th minute of the game for missing former player Sala. World has gone mad.

Tricky tie-good result.

Thought first half, we dominated but just missed that clinical final pass, and when we did we were wasteful. We did become more creative as the first half progressed.

Second half-looked like there were a couple of minor tweaks and we got a couple of great goals through mcgregor and Christie. Cruised the rest of the match.

Didn’t think there were any failures. Jozo and Ajer looked more than comfortable at the back, but weren’t really tested. Brown got better as the game went on, thought Mcgregor deserved his MOTM, and Christie played well-has to cut out the diving though. Forrest and Sinclair were fine-Burke was a bit quiet.

Eddy looked lovely when he came on-good to see him back.

Good result against a team that normally gives us a hard time.
