Looks like a permanent deal.
Not so surprising really. He hasn't really kicked on as well as many, myself included, had hoped and expected him to.
He's got the athletic ability, but he's prone to switching off from time to time and makes a lot of questionable decisions. With TFM and Tuanzebe in the wings, he'd be well down the pecking order if he decided to stay, and he's probably better off looking to build his career in senior football elsewhere.

Highly rated at a younger age and really stood out at U18 level but injuries and then set back after set back seems to have really curtailed his development.
