How good were these guys yesterday?
Poch needs to be looking at a right sided version of Rose. we had it in walker and never replaced. Fast Strong and keen to take on their opposite number.
Winks is unappreciated by the press and some fans. Top player conducts the midfield. He needs someone mobile, technical and strong next to him to share the responsibility. If we could only sign a top class CM I think his game would go up a notch. He would suddenly get more space to influence even more than he does.
Son, run out of superlatives for the guy. Every time he gets the ball he looks to make something happen. Whilst not on the level of Bale. In recent times He reminds me of Ginola and Bale. Both used to excite the crowd as soon as they got the ball. We really needed his energy and skill yesterday.

Was going to made a post about Rose. Last night highlighted his quality and reminds us that our FBs used to be a massive strength. Sadly lacking that down the right. I don't rate any of our 3 RBs.

I think Poch was spoilt with Walker and Rose. He didn't sign them and forgot how integral they are to the style he plays. I hope he gets it now. As much attention needs to be paid to every position on the pitch.

Walker had many an error in him when Poch arrived and he became the best RB in the country and a target for City.
Poch was credited with Walkers massive improvement.
But lets face it, in the title chasing season vs Liecester, Walker pretty much gave up from March onwards after his head was turned. Poch would not have wanted to lose him but doesnt want players who are not 100% committed. Unfortuntely none of the replacements have measured up

To be honest I reckon he'd come on leaps and bounds with a really good midfielder alongside him. Someone like Ndombele, that mould of technical box-to-boxer

Thanks, so Sanchez having another bad game? I personally would like to see Foyth get in front of Sanchez in the pecking order and would like to see KWP play on the right side against Newcastle thats if Rose can manage two back to back games.

Didnt think Sanchez was so bad.
He had 2 players on him when they scored so someone had failed to mark their man, and if Lloris had stayed on his line he would have gathered the weak header. Can't remember too many other chances for Watford and certainly no glaring errors.

Thought Roses crosses was poor most of the time.
I cannot fault his work rate and he did provide the assist.

Winks is a good player, no more than that at the moment, although I do think he's improving.

I think some are going a tad overboard about Winks, OK player, but has to do a lot to be rated as a real top notch midfielder.
