about the shocking team selection for the FA Cup game versus Palace out of my system, and am now looking ahead again. Next two or three weeks Prem fixtures for the top half a dozen are as follows:
Liverpool
West Ham (A)
Bournemouth (H)
Man United (A)
Man City
Arsenal (H)
Everton (A)
Chelsea (H)
Tottenham
Newcastle (H)
Leicester (H)
Burnley (A)
Arsenal
Man City (A)
Huddersfield (A)
Southampton (H)
Chelsea
Huddersfield (H)
Man City (A)
Man United
Leicester (A)
Fulham (A)
Liverpool (H)
Spurs on paper look to have the easiest set of fixtures, but we all know football aint won on paper. Chelsea only have two fixtures before they play Spurs, because of all their cup commitments. All the sides around us are playing each other, which means points will be dropped by some, if not all, which if Spurs can get their wins, should either strengthen the top three position, or very unlikely put Spurs in a position for a late title charge. Either way it is looking favourable provided Spurs can do the business.
As we all know though, Spurs very rarely do the business when it is looking favourable for them. This Saturday with the early kick off, chance to leapfrog City before they play Arsenal at home. Let`s hope just for once in our lifetimes, they do finally take advantage.
Right I have now got the moaning

I want a city win as that will help make top 3 more secure and finishing 2nd or 3rd is not much difference. As unlikely as a late title challenge is at least a city win will prevent Liverpool from coasting and keep the tension at a high level.

Would you rather City or Arsenal win this weekend sandy

Probably City, Spurs aint winning the title now, so best to try to cement a top three place, but it is a bit of a win/win for Spurs provided they beat Newcastle.

Sandy's now gone defeatist.
Even I'm hoping for a draw or City loss to see if we can have a late rally for the title.

Poch and Trippier have broken me.

City win for me
First priority is top 4, it doesn't matter if we finish 3rd or 2nd

Surprised you have given up on the league after yesterday's results. Win our next game and we're 4 points behind Liverpool, and they'll have their game in hand away against West Ham, which isn't a great game to play if you're feeling a bit of pressure to win to keep the chasing pack off you.

Yes, I know!
Moandy, why you of little faith!
Looking at the fixtures coming up, Liverpool's next three ones are tasty.
Hope the Spammers mount some kind of resistence and Bournemouth are no slouch either!
United will relish denting Liverpool's title hopes
Ole will become a legend if his side stops Liverpool from winning the title
All to play for still

Newcastle and Leicester are coming into some form now at the wrong timing for us, those games will be tricky will have new players in there squads

Arsenal and Spurs wins will put us above City and if Liverpool lose that's just 4 points between us and them.
Realistically not going to win the league but you've got to go for it when it's not that far out - I don't see us dropping 8 points from now till the end on both Chelsea and Arsenal.

Well if beating Arsenal means that City win the league ahead of Liverpool then I’d happily give them the 3 points but the likelihood is they will batter us anyway and still not win the league. In that scenario I’d want Arsenal to win.
