Milner was a liability last time he played full back. He’s 33 now and that’s a young mans position. Massive risk to go in with Milner.

And it would have been less of a risk to go with someone 6 years younger but who has played only 7 games of football in the last 18 months?

When you get down to 3rd choice RB there’s always an element of risk but Milner is fine imo. That’s not to say I won’t be pleased when TAA is back but for now Milner is an ok option.

One of his 7 games was hanging Rashford and Martial in his pocket

Didn’t say he was a bad player, I said is it any less of a risk. Milner got a lot of plaudits for his season at LB and now suddenly he’s a greater risk to fill in at RB than someone who’s hardly played in a year and a half? Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.

He played LB when he was still in his peak. He’s 33 now. He will do a job for us but against pace it is a risk. Also not to forget that our wide right player Salah or Shaq are not the best at covering the full backs unless you play Mane there.

Only issue I have with Milner is pace and he may struggle a bit against Anderson .on form he’s excellent and Milner will need someone to double up on his side . Other than that not much in the West Ham team to worry about .

Milner played LB in the game against Palace. His immediate opponent? Zaha. Palace effectively targeted Milner; each and every goal kick, free kick went into that immediate area. I for one won't be in the least surprised if WHU adopt the same tactic.

Clyne's gone, and, by the way he looks to be enjoying his football at Bournemouth he won't be coming back.

I still can not believe he sanctioned the clyne deal. We also going in to the bayern game with potentially.only one recognised cb.

The clyne deal could turn out to be a decisive factor. I hope not. And we all know Matip is few games away from a knock, he is also brittle

thought clyne was a very strong back up but klopp knows best. going against bayern with matip and lovren in the team the front three had better have a big game.
the league is the most important thing.

Count yourselves lucky you’ve not had more over the entire season like we’ve had. Having Arnold and Gomez out is one thing but it’s not like Van Djik or Salah is it.

You underestimate their importance.
