It was good time to give AC a game,and to give Rudi a rest. Look at our next months fixtures ,we will need Rudi in top nick for them.

He was on the bench though - can’t have been too badly injured. I was surprised too, but have to admit that Christensen did very well - apart from his brief tangle with Mooy in the area.

Also I get the impression(fingers crossed),that AC is starting to come to maturity !,no offence to him, but he seemed like a big boy before,but he's starting to grow into his game .
Sounds confusing I know but,he's part of our successful future..... we hope.

Probably injury concern but deemed fit enough to play. On bench as not necessary to risk given opposition and fixture schedule.
