Another dominant but not clinical display.
My ratings with no hidden agendas behind them.
Lloris 7 - One good save and another great read to come out when Perez would have been in.
Trippier 6 - Crossing wasn't the best, but he played some nice passes throughout getting us in behind. Defended well when he had to.
Alderweirled 7 - Good block in the first half. Some nice passing.
Sanchez 8 - One of his better games this season.
Vertonghen 7 - Attacking wise he was good, particularly the first half. Couple of uncertain moments defensively.
Winks 8 - Always available, looking and driving us forward
Sissoko 6 - Did his defensive work as usual. Put in a good cross in the first half and was unlucky with the volley.
Eriksen 6 - Another one of those games where he looked like he couldn't kick the ball properly. Still played a great pass for Llorente and had two shots stopped on the line.
Lamela 6 - Played ok in the first half and was unlucky with the header. Not much of a threat in the second.
Son 7 - I think he spent too much time in second half centrally outside box. Luckily his shot was poorly dealt with so it worked out in the end.
Lucas 5 - Wasn't really in the game and missed a great chance.
Llorente 6 - Somehow managed to get in behind more than anyone else. Was the only person to make a run to the front post in the whole game too. Shame his finishing was poor. We were still better overall with him than without and obviously played his part in the goal.

Lucas made a front-post run. That time Eriksen put Trippier in behind on the right hand side and he pulled it back into the 6 yard box. Lucas went near post but the pull back was behind him.

I agree with those ratings.
Thought Sanchez was really good as I think he has been poor recently.
Ericksen wasn’t great but in every game he always manages to deliver a perfect pass for a sitter and not many players in our team can do that.

Just pointed out that trippier created 4 chances and he gave him a 1/10 where Verts created 0 and he got a 7/10
He then said I was talking nonsense despite taking this from opta and Tottenham’s web site.
I also called him thick.
It was a good evening tbh
