Other than Dave and Lindelof no one was up to standard.
3 points.
Need to improve next Saturday
Dreadful performance

Rosso, is he a DM?
I think McTominay might be ahead at the moment

He can play DM and box to box, but he's at his best in the same role Matic plays for me.
He's a clever player, reads the game very well and is a bit quicker and grittier than McT. He's a bit more suited to the role.

I wouldn't be against it Rosso.
If he doesn't get overawed and can show what he's capable of, he could be a good option to anchor the midfield in Matic's absence.
He can get about the pitch more easier than Matic can, he's good at creating distance between him and the opposition when it comes to receiving the ball and he uses the ball sensibly when he has it but can also penetrate when needs be.
I'm not knocking McTominay but Garner has more about him. That doesn't necessarily mean he's better equipped of course but he's better on the ball and he doesn't shy away from the physical side of the game. He reminds me a bit of Ben Pearson (although not as much) who loved a challenge.

I won't mind McT spelling some time from Matic tbh too.

I've been so impressed with him since he stepped up. He looks like one of the senior players in the U23s now, which given the position he plays is impressive in itself.
Love him on the ball, love his commitment. He looks ready for a chance to me.

Yeah that's the other thing about him, he is a leader. He's shown it all through the different age groups.
It's just about how well he can adjust to the intensity and greater quality of senior football.

Pogba, Herrera, matic, garner, Fred and a new centre mid next season would be good options, a part of me thinks Fred needs more time and matic could be let go but doubt he will be.

That's 6 options for 3 positions, pogba, Herrera and a new signing starting, Fred, garner and matic as back up, very good options for me.

Each have a specific role, so it's more like two options for each of the 3 positions.

Think the Sanchez experiment has to end now. He's useless.
Lukaku came on and didn't understand what was expected of him. Lingard and Pogba screamed at him.
All in all, a great 3 points
