Got to say, I’ve never known any player to try and avoid being fouled in the penalty box. Normally, it’s the opposite.

He didn’t claim because he knew he’d made a balls of it. But by falling, he conned the ref into believing he had been fouled. And spr-why did he fall if the contact wasn’t enough to make him do that?! If you’re trying to avoid contact, then surely you’re doing your best to retain advantage by staying on your feet?!

It’s no biggie to say he dived! Loads of players do it and will continue to do it. But to deny it here using the mental gymnastics some are using-fvcking hell.

Personally it looks like a dive to me. Its the whole bale Ronaldo anticipated contact that I think should be a dive even when the contact is made.

Unfortunately it don't seem to work that way

Wasn’t mcgeady caught diving once and the then Celtic manager said it wasn’t a dive cod he anticipated the contact?

It's cheating ,

But it's a form of cheating I'm fine with bizarrely , if you're going to be stupid and hang out the leg I'm going to use it to gain an advantage

I think this is one in which it's so hard to judge for refs
