Whilst the media will tell you our season is unraveling, actually in the PL it is far from the truth. If you look at the table 10 games ago ( the start of Ole's unbeaten run ) the points gained by the top 6 are as follows:
Pool - 22 points ( with a game in hand )
City - 20 points
Spurs - 24 points
Chelsea - 19 points
ManU - 25 points
Arsenal - 16 points
So ole has made progress on Chelsea and Arsenal, but only 3 points on City, only 2 points on Pool who have easy game in hand, and Spurs only 1 point.
So is easy to see how the media can distort matters, given our season was unraveling a week ago.
The fact is the top 6 all consistently pick up points, so gaps reduced on all of them is near impossible.
Should we be worried ?

Good job Hafi is here to correct the facts, typical OP trying to get one over on us all by glossing over the truth.

Mourinho has provided Ole with the best assist you could ever hope for in football.

Spurtle did the worst assist possible leaving us with our worst start after 17 games in PL era. Thats what makes it more remarkable.

His departure was a guaranteed15+ points for the next manager, such was the relief and lift it gave the players.

Remember Hiddink taking over from Mourinho and while he steadied the ship the results turned from shocking to average. What OGS has done is turned below average to sensational.

I don't think there was as much joy for the players at Chelsea when he left as for United.
Ole is doing well but much of the motivation came from Mourinho packing his bags.

OGS was faced with the task to go from near relegation form to title winning form to get top 4. Thats a big task, especially how we looked in our last game under Mourinho.
Its not just motivation, its tactics as well. Mourinho was clearly holding us back even in 17/18 season we were poor for a lot of it. The fact we outrun a team in OGS first game vs 0 with Mourinho this season shows it was the tactics that were holding us back.

It was also similar last season.

OGS made 7 points on Man City, 6 points on Liverpool although they have a game in hand.

Yeah - incredible stuff although the fixtures (Spurs aside) were all very winnable.
