Ando has withdrawn due to a back injury.

Instead of replacing him with Whitlock, Lewis, White, Chisnall they've decided to do something similar to about 7 or 8 years ago when they brought in random replacements to replace ill/injured players.

This time they've brought in a mixture of young guns who'll no doubt be PL regulars and a few home crowd favourites, Durrant also gets a call up.

I actually like the idea of it, be good to see if they can handle the intense atmosphere.

Chris Dobey will play in Newcaslte.
Glenn Durrant will play in Glasgow
Nathan Aspinall will play in Nottingham
Steve Lennon will play in Dublin
Max Hopp will play in Berlin
John Henderson will play in Aberdeen (drawn the short straw, plays MVG)
Jeffrey De Zwaan will play in Rotterdam
Dmitri Van Den Bergh will play in Rotterdam
Luke Humphries will play in Exeter

Points gained against these players counts to the league standings

If any of the above win/draw they'll be rewarded financially.

Thoughts??

Can see this causing a massive stir, but Hearn wont care, its publicity to a tournament which has maybe lost its edge over the last few years.
