It’s from John Cross, take it with a pinch of salt. The guy said Carrasco was going happen on deadline day then he backtracked an hour later. We should have significant funds according to Ornstein.

Just read that report as well £45 Mil to spend.

If that is true then wow where has all the money gone. Dont give me that BS about no CL as Everton/West Ham even faking Fulham spent over £100Mil.

One things for certain Ozil and his £350k per week need to get out of the club asap.

Ramsey, Cech, Welbeck, Lichsteiner, Monreal and hopefully Ozil leaving would mean mean we would be slashing anywhere between 800k-1Mil per week of the wage bill.

Next season I can see us with Holding Sokratis, Chambers and Mavro as our CB's with Kos playing some games.

Fulham seem to have succeeded in turning Chambers into a very capable defensive midfielder.

This could turn out to be a pivotal season in his career. He's played more first-team football than I ever expected him to get at Fulham.

I see the club PR has worked rather well. With lots of the players leaving in the summer, our wages bill shouldn't be an issue anymore.
Assuming the reported budget is accurate, which AM could we signed and pay which would be better than him, bearing in mind we can't blow the £45M just on one player?
The reason Gazidis & Co gave him those wages is because they realised it'd cost more to replace him

The £50m wasn't right, closer to £70m was spent (net)

None of them did.

The club are saying it’s due to having to comply with prem spending rules on wages and transfer, apparently Kronke can’t put in money because of this (not that he would)

It’s clear we have to get rid of a lot of wages this summer, we’re wasting so much money there. We’ve got a few players who don’t deserve what they’re on. Cech, Ramsey and Welbeck will probably be off. Then we have to try shift likes of ozil, Jenkinson, litchstiener and Elneny who are all higher earners. If we can get rid of them all that should free up much more room for wages. Of course we’d have to bring in players as well then, but we could probably buy more useful player who aren’t earning as much as all those did. So hopefully if we have restricted budget, shifting those players could help

I'd say a CB, RB and a proper striker. Key priorities.
