This is a very good read from Adam Bate who interviewed Ole at Carrington today about his time at United so far. He opens up about Cardiff, his style of management and the identity of Manchester United.
After five years of Moyes, LVG and Jose stinking out the pitch this man is so refreshing to listen to. A real student of the game. Even if he doesn’t get the job, surely in the near future he should be given a senior position at the club? Maybe the DoF?

VC i think it may be both a little bit of mind games and pleasantry with Pep. In that he is trying to sway some of the limelight off his team in the title run.
His side has the ability to overhaul Liverpool in the title race at this critical moment of the season. He can sense that Liverpool are feeling the pressure more so.

What’s good about the way we have been playing is that it does open up more doors to prospective signings. Obviously playing for Manchester United and earning good money is a big pull. But a Manchester United where we are playing on the front foot becomes more appealing to one that has laboured in attack for so many years.

And this time - Sneijder, Moura and Ozil et al will all finally find their way out of the Carrington Triangle hehe

Not sure I agree with Pep today where he said we are still title contenders.
If we manage fourth it will be a good job. Making up 14 points in 13 games isn't going to happen.
Not with our run of games coming up.

I don’t think he really meant it either, it was more of a guard against complacency for us and keep the pressure up on Liverpool type of comment.
I do think you’ll get top four though.

I think he over stressed the point about last season being abnormal, and that this season the competition is more in line with expectation.

Yep which is completely right too.

SAF suggested Poch after LVG but Ed and the board wanted Jose as he was a big name.

He's a football manager, why would he want to be our DOF?
