Rooney ( who obviously thinks people want to hear his opinion ) is the latest of an ever increasing line of people in the game to come out with the " Poch would be good for Utd" cr*p. This list now includes so many ex players it has now gone beyond reasonable.
There should be some sort of tapping up rule imposed by the FA covering ex pros. You expect claptrap from the media, but this is so disrespectful it now beggars belief.
Do these idiots ever stop to think how their big mouth comments effect the club that actually has the person under contract.
Spurs should sue, or at the very least start thinking about injunctions.
Another one "taping up" Poch

"There should be some sort of tapping up rule imposed by the FA covering ex pros"
And how exactly will this be enforced?
Do tell.

I reckon the conversation would have been very different had Rooney said the same thing about a player under contract at another club.
This is no different from the way Barca and Madrid use their legends to plant stories about transfer targets in the media.
Having said that, I'd rather Tottenham kept Poch. They might actually have a shot at silverware if he left.

It’s quite different, with Barca and Madrid it usually comes from people at the club.

I'm interested to know how a player who no longer has any affiliation with Man Utd can be guilty of tapping up on behalf of Man Utd.
Oh, and 'taping' -
