The start to the 2nd half of the season has gone as well as we could have hoped.
Another win, another 2 goals, another clean sheet and a 6 point gap at the top with a hefty goal difference advantage.
Last night was just about getting the 3 points to ensure we were comfortable at the top until next weekend.
A lot of positives to take from last night, Toljan looks a cracking wee player, very good on the ball and likes to get forward at every opportunity. Yet to see him really defend against anyone yet though so I hope that’s not a major flaw.
McGregor, Brown and McGregor outstanding as a midfield 3, McGregor the pick of the bunch.
Jozo again putting in a terrific performance with one small mishap in the 2nd half. Thought Bitton done very well when he came on, some of his passing gave me a stauner.
Great move for the first goal and the 2nd was a bit of luck but we deserved it.
Now the negatives, Oli Burke, hopeless, absolutely hopeless last night. He has the first touch of a flucking giraffe with arthritis. The amount of times he nearly ran the ball out of play man
Injury to Izzy, it doesn’t look like it’s too serious but the actual fluck did that Hibs boy not receive a red card? Absolutely disgusting challenge.
Sinclair, murder last night but it’s his first torrid game since he came back so I’ll spare him full on criticism.
It sets us up nicely for Sunday now, another clean sheet would be fantastic as then Bain is only one game away from bettering Fraser Forsters record.
Good news on the injury front with Forrest and Edouard back for the weekend, Boyata getting 75 minutes last night and Ntcham back to full fitness by this weekend too.

As for Hamish-I think you’re being disingenuous trying to frame it as that one mistake. He made a whole point around it. I was querying a number of them, including that one. I was more amused by his roughhoused comment.

Maybe yesterday should be downgraded for you.

I don’t think you spelled the word incorrectly, I think you got the word wrong. Not having a dig, but if I was correcting your typos from yesterday alone it would have taken a while. There’s always wee words that we put the wrong letters in.

Yeah it was a typo as I was on my phone and it corrected it to peruse due to my fat fingers.
