.. this season from this point on?
(Not including weekends where Liverpool play first)
Imo no. We might just see City get another 100 points. Imo if they do that again they can rightly be called the best PL side ever. Anyone think Liverpool will finish higher than them? Or like the OP suggests, ever even be higher than them at all this season?
Will Liverpool ever be above City..

We had our chance and blew it.

Why do You even bother supporting the club. Complete nonsense
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What does supporting the club have to do with it?
Surely you can distinguish hoping we win it with not believing we will.
I’ll celebrate as much as anyone if we do. I envy those who think we’re still the favourites. I simply disagree with them.
For me it’s all about momentum in the final stretch and we seem to have none.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
After 2 draws? Come on mate we have not become a bad side or lost all momentum after 2 draws
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But isnt it a case of you looking quite poor. You could have easily dropped points to Palace and Leicester had some real good chances too.
Whether its confidence, a bit of tiredness, or whatever, you have lost a bit of your momentum, you can even see it with the goalkeeper. He's suddenly less assured....i think Bournemouth are the perfect antidote. vs quality teams who like to attack their style seems too open and they often get turned over. Good win and you'll be back up to speed.
Coping with the Champions league will be the telling factor IMO.

you do realise they have played one more game more than us so provided we don't lose saturday we're back on top
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, but you have every chance of bottling it. Pressure is even on more now. And as I said before, Klopp and Liverpool are bottlers when the pressure is on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So do you think we will lose on Sat OP?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There is a chance. If you do not blow them away in the first 20 minutes and the game settles, the longer it remains goalless the more confidence they'll have to sneak a goal themselves. Plus your front three is not as productive and your defense is shaky because of injuries.

Liverpool have won plenty of games were they havent blown teams away in the first 20 minutes.
Our front 3 score regularly, and we still have the best defence in the league, more clean sheets than any other team, and have only lost 1 game all season away to City.
There is very little to suggest Bournemouth stand much chance of beatijg Liverpool.
