Let others make such nonsense up hoping its true, you know "meltdown", "pressure too much" etc etc, they can quote stats galore over the last few liverpool games and make 2+2 =15...because they hope its true....they really hope its true, almost praying we are faltering.
However, look closely and its bad news for our rivals. Klopp has said vvd has been ill and lost an amazing 4kg, hes been playing whilst ill and meanwhile, lovren, TAA and Gomez have been injured....doesnt stop there, hedo and wij dropped out at the last minute vs w ham, in short for about 4 weeks its been constant reshuffle, illness and injury...non stop.
Our whole first choice back line bar Robertson has been out or ill, our 1st and 2nd choice rb injured, our top performing mf out injured and then as mentioned before milner who can play rb was suspended vs Leicester.
We have coped remarkable well, we have not lost and even when what....8 or 9 injured players out or suffering, we kept picking up points. Its why I say city missed their chance, people dont understand but its clear why we suffered less so why city stumbled.
Onwards and upwards from here on in I feel
VVD lost 4kg says klopp!

Yes all the talk of bottling is strange , we win tomorrow which we should and city might well drop points again v Chelsea and the gap widens . Long way to go yet and .neither city or Liverpool are entirely convincing at the moment

For me Liverpools last 4 games after Chelsea at home are going to be the most difficult ones. Your games away to Cardiff, away to Newcastle and at home to Wolves could be tricky especially if the first 2 are not safe. Its harder for managers to mentally prepare players for the easier games at the end of the season unlike big games where players self-motivate themselves. If Fergie can lose a 7 point gap with 5 games left so can any other team including this Liverpool side.
The fact that Liverpool are not loosing is irrelevant as the title winner simply has to maximise as many wins as they can in a tight title race.
This race is similar to the Rodgers camapign. Too difficult to call at this stage

Bottling is winning when you are kinda expected to, when the pressure is on. Both teams have bottled it recently (City against Newcastle & liverpool against Leicester & Westham)
Both games were not free hits and both teams came up short. Liverpool drawing instead of losing will only be relevant if they win the title.
I am surprised people expect Chelsea to get points from City. I know they are a top 6 team and anything can happen but its like people have forgotten how pathetic chelsea were at an injury depleted Arsenal.
Forget Higuain, City playing a highline he will be isolated. I will be shocked if Chelsea gets a point there.

I’m feeling smugly optimistic about the scousers rocking up at OT.
They are faaaar too overconfident, and we are bang in form.
Cannot wait. Something tells me it will be meltdown central post match.

You do realise that the fans 'overconfidence' has absolutely no impact on the result don't you?
I actually think you have reason to be optimistic given Utd's form and a couple of our recent performances. But overconfidence is a nonsensical reason for that optimism.
