Lukaku now and if he was to leave what team do you think he'd end up at?
He's nowhere near top level, West Ham for 40 million sounds about right to me. We need a quality back up to Rashford who is good bringing others in to play. Guessing what Lukaku is going to do is like trying to catch a hexagon shaped bouncy ball.
How much do you think we could get for

I actually think he'd opt to go back to Everton if he could. But i think that if that did happen then we'd get less than the 40-50 million that some here would accept.
I think that Everton would be willing/manage to pay around 30 - 35 million maximum.
If that was the case, would you guys still be happy to take that big a loss?

I have zero love for everton
sold us 2 viruses in fellaini and lukaku and let's not forget moyes
I want lukaku gone but I also know he will be a good player for whoever signs him so selling el cheapo to a club like everton is definitely not an option
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But if it came down to the last resort as other clubs were not willing to match that value?
It's clear that Lukaku does not fit our style so he does need to go. But i still think it will be at a big loss financially for us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
erm, i agree it makes logical sense to sell him at whatever price we can get
but as a matter of principle I hope we don't sell him el cheapo especially to everton

Didn't West Ham want £50m for Marko Arnautović not too long ago, and he was 30 at the time.

That's the thing mate. These kind of pesky clubs are cheekily willing to sell at a overpriced valuation but are more wary on spending the same/similar for similar level players

Biggest hope would be Jose going to Real and taking Lukaku with him. Otherwise the other options would be Italy or back to Everton.

We could possibly look to the continent and sell him there and maybe get a slightly better price for him.

He looks more out of place than ever.
What's really concerning is that he (and Sanchez - though AS has been from the start) is getting among the chances.
Ordinarily with forwards it's not a major concern if they miss a few chances, as long they keep getting them.
Granted, Lukaku had a moment today where he helped with a penalty. He did that through a good turn of pace and actually getting on the move. It really shouldn't be hard to replace that and get someone who can do that for 90 minutes when needed (assuming they'd be behind Rashford in the pecking order).

Even for the pen it was a poor pass to Mata
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be fair it was a superb run. He made that goal.

you'd prob have to pay Wham 40m to subsidise his wage loss?

West Ham have enough money off they wanted him to pay his fee and wages.
