Whatever point Emery is trying to make, it's a stupid one. You CANT expect a 30 year old player who has been successful at club and international level to suddenly change his style and be a hard pressing, hard working gunho player. Give him a decent base behind him and decent runners and he WILL create goal scoring chances. Pity that Emery refuses to utilize him correctly!

Arsenal want rid of him cause they regret paying him a high wage.
They believe the best way of doing that is by not playing him. That is cause if he is playing then he won’t leave due to his high wage.

Arsenal are in a no-win situation with Ozil. If Emery plays him and he continues to stink who is going to buy him? At least by not playing there are more than enough people, like the original poster who can justifiably say that Ozil isn't really that bad, he is just not getting on with the manager who doesn't like his style. Please PSG buy him so that he can play your style and be the same Ozil that did so well at Real Madrid.
