Ayling and possibly Phillips more responsible for the Smoggies goal!

Pablo was at fault for their goal I thought, right in front of the away fans. Just didn't track the runner at all. But his passing was very good and he set up some great opportunities.

He has been poor this month though but you just can't leave him out.

I think their goal was just one of those things... it looked like Phillips had won possession so our supporting players were moving forwards, but he lost s 50:50 to Mikel, not really his fault and boro used it well in the transition.

As for Pablo, his passing may have been hit and miss of late but he changed the game yesterday, probed constantly and got us on the front foot

When Pablo came on yesterday, his passing was all over the place. So bad that with several "easy" passes he couldn't even keep the ball in play.

He managed to get himself firing on all cylinders eventually, but must have taken 15 minutes of play - I've never seen him so wonky.

He's either carrying an injury or was so knackered yesterday that it affected his playing.

We are really going to miss Saiz unless Brown comes good.

LeedsFan, spot on about Pablo, look back at the matchday thread, people were saying how poor he was, Eddie stated that he was ball watching which led to their goal. But it's Pablo and he gets an easy ride.
No idea where Ayling had disappeared to as it really isn't Pablo's niche to defend but he needed to do better than he did.

Re the goal, watching live I thought he was slow to track the run, after watching replays i’m not sure it made a difference it was a quick ball from saville and they caught us on the hop in transition. Pontus didn’t see the danger, one of those things, if we scored it we’d think great goal.

I think pablo’s not been at his best for a few games, and he did put a few passes awry early yesterday. Pitch was slippy and it was blowing a hooly, lots of passes went astray. But when he hit his stride he orchestrated the comeback.

The season is just beginning regarding the top 2 for automatic promotion.
Struggled all season to break teams down apart from the first few games.

We nèed to see Klich and Alioski, Pablo and Harrison, Foreshaw and Roberts get their shots on target. We need to see every shot rippling the back of the net. We need to see crosses getting beyond the first defender and players who can run past defenders and into the box. This the time for the players to grab this opportunity. This is the time for cojones.

Norwich have a relatively easy run to the end of the season now - let's hope they get a bit complacent!

They have Preston away next which is tough. Besides, it's not them were chasing atm, it's trying to outrun Sheff Utd and WBA. If we ain't careful, we'll play Sheff Utd in a 2nd v 3rd 6 pointer at ER in a few weeks.
