It seems that the United board have made the decision to give the job to Ole for next season.

I know its just a gossip paper but it was on 98FM as well this morning that a decision had been made. Board wont announce it publicly until the end of the season.
Thoughts?
Ole permanent ?

I don't see any reason to rush the decision. We have him until April.
The only reason to even think of offering him the job now would be if we are leaning towards him being our guy and a club bigger than Molde makes him a good offer.

No need to rush IMO.
I'd love him to get the job but whilst we can stick to the original plan then no need to rock the boat.
However, I would like to see us show Molde some courtesy. If he is going to be our new manager then it's only fair that they have time to sort themselves out for their upcoming season. If they do hire a new manager then Old (announcement or not) will almost certainly be our manager next season.

Dream scenario: we get top 4, win the FA cup and get to the CL final and Ole is announced a few hours before kick off, and we beat City in the final.

Nah, let's beat Liverpool.

Happy for him to be given the job. He's got the best out of what we have got at the moment and I for one would like him to get the job

So the word "Poch" only typed once in the whole of this post. So got bored with that story now ?
For once ManU should actually stick with something for more than 5 minutes, stop this incessant need to keep looking at others, and you will be better next year. This guy has performed a small miracle and you should keep him. Not 1 year, but 3/4 minimum.
Is no secret that the longer a manager is given, the better it gets ( Klopp, Poch, Wenger - maybe too long with him lol and your own Ferguson - yeah you nearly got ride of him too )

Poch would be my first choice but he's not available.
What 'incessant need to keep looking at others'?
We sacked our manager and so discussed potential replacements. Perfectly normal

Yeah partly agreed. This not a wum, you just need to stick with something and stop keep looking in the shop window, which being honest, ManU are always doing I actually like Ole. For me signing him or not is just not a discussion, rather if Molde let him go. I mean look since Ferguson at who has succeeded. None . And every time you have to start over and go back another year or two with your progress. Everton are the same. Since Moyes, gone backwards. With your size, global reputation and financial clought, you should be at least level with City, Barca, RMadrid, but you are nowhere near them atm in erms of the top table reputations. Amd I don't mean the odd trophy. Poch not done this, but how far away from the top table were Spurs before he arrived. They are there now, albeit still a fair way to go, but Spurs are now known around Europe. 4/5 years ago no one outside the uk had a clue.

Spurs are well known outside the UK for a long time. Dont let brexit get to your head.
